Around the House...

I haven't been working on much lately except for trying to spruce up my front porch.

I am putting on new coats of black spray paint and wood stain

Painted the pots with Cherry Red from Krylon

On a side note, my mail box is also getting a make over since it was assaulted a week ago. We are getting a nice wood post with a black box.

Finished End Table and Ballardizing My House

I am just now getting around to posting the pictures 

of the finished end table

Here she is. I am so bad that I didn't bother taking the time to lighten up my photo...or better yet, take it during decent light. 

I have been trying to incorporate some of the Ballard Designs ideas into my home and here is what I have so far:

To my husband's delight, I incorporated antlers into my decor.

I saw them all over the Ballard catalog 

but can't find them on their website

{maybe they decided they were't cool any more?}

Guest Room Redo

As you can tell from these pictures, this room needs some help. I think I have the right idea going on with the cute night stand and dresser but there is a serious lack of accessories. I will be posting the after pictures as soon as I ditch the shoe boxes, address the lack of headboard and find a chair for the desk.
